MINISTERIAL REPLIES.

The following Ministerial replies have been received to the protests by the Pukekohe Gorough Council against the building of a wooden courthouse in Pukekohe, instead of in brick <n concrete: From the member , for . Franklin (Right Hon. W. F. Massey):-r "Your telegram re now courthouse buildings received. I have forwarded your repesentations to the Minister for Justice, and informed him that they have my endorsement if it is practicable to give ell'ect to the request." The Minister for Justice (Hon. E. P. Lee) wired promising to consider the request. Similar replies were received by Mr. V. S. Roberts, secretary of the Pukekohe Chamber of Commerce.
