FRANKLIN MARKET REPORT
The Franklin Farmers' Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report: At our usual weekly sale on Friday we had a large attendance, with huge entries in all lines.
Prices For pins and poultry ruled high. Pit-s: Weaners: Poor lis to IBs: good, 25s to 445; stores, *:3 to Vl. Poultry: Exceptionally heavy entries were penned, and sold at: Hens light, ;is to 3s !)d; heavier, 4s to (is: pullets, Ss. Ducks, Gs to Bs.. Hay. 7s bale. Apples, (is Gd to 7s case. Pumpkins, Gs cwt. No potatoes offered. Vegetables, produce, furniture, and sundries realised usual rates.
