Billiard Tournament. The billiard tournament concluded on Tuesday night, when Ihe Tuakau crack player, Mr. Keppell, was beaten in the semi-final. The winner turned up to be Mr. E. McGahn, and the runner-up Mr. K. Ralph. Another tournament is to be held this month, and is open to all players. The prizes are gold and silver medals.

PAPAKURA. GOLF. The Papakura Golf Club held two very interesting competitions on Tuesday afternoon, when 16 ladies took part in an "approaching and putting" competition, and also in a "putting' competition, from four different positions outside the green. Several ties toofc in the preliminary and secondary trials, and in the final three dies played off. Miss C. Wood being the winner. ?. g Miss Reynolds won theJJrophy for putting, her aggregate for the four positions being eight.

A mixed foursome competition is to be held at an early date.
