MAGISTRATE'S COURT

(Before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.) I BREACH OF PROHIBITION ORDER* William Inglis, labourer, Poken<\ who was prohibited last Court day, was chained with a breach of his order, by entering the Tuakau Hotel and procuring liquor on May 20, 1920. Defendant did not appear. Constable Thompson said that defendant was prohibited on May 20. He got a ride in a motor-car and went st/aight to Tuakau and procuied liquor. Defendant was convicted and fined £2 for entering the hotel, and 10s for procuring liquor, together with costs amounting to £1 16s.
