ENTERTAINMENTS.

ODDFELLOWS' HALL. "Tke Vamp,' a picture from the Paramount Studios, holds pride of place among the varied list of films to be screened at the Oddfellows' Hall to-night. Miss Enid Bennett, the famous actress, is seen to advantage, and her charms have little difficulty in attracting everyone. Come and see this delightful programme. You are sure to enjoy it. The usual change will be submitted on Tuesday night next.

LYCEUM PICTURES. MABEI NOKMAND. A big triumph is in store for patrons at to-morrow's (Saturday) screening, when Mabel Normand will appear in a Goldwyn comedy-drama called "The Pest." This picture is on a par with "Mickey," and is as good or even better. We guarantee this picture a winner. She is the pest in "The Pest," and she is some pest. The only bath-tub she knew was a water-barrel. You will see her in it. Her only home was a garret, yet the sunshine of romance sought her out. Her first kiss knocked her down, but she was up before the count, and coming back for more. In the ballroom, in the bath, in the garret; flva leels of rollicksome, wholesome fun and some true pathos. COMING. The picture that is taking Auckland by storm, "The Man They Couid Not Hang," will be screened here on June 30th. The strange story of John Lee, for whom by some mysterious power th-3 gallows repeatedly rofused to work. His innocence has since been proven. Mr. Haldane, the famous lecturer, accompanies the picture.

SKATING. Monday afternoon and evening. No skating on Tuesday, as the hall is booked by the New Zealand Film Company for the screening of "The Land We Live In."
