A meeting of householders of the Papikura school district wav held the other evening to elect a committee, owing to the meeting calle i for May 3 having lapsed owing to the small attendance. The Rev. The woodwork, doors, I ;'iid window-sashes have also been attended to. Unfortunately the exterior is not to be painted. On the opposite side of King Street painters and signwriters are busily engaged innovating the Farmers' Union Trading Company's premises, formerly o,>ned by Mr. W. Roulston. When this is completed the business centre of Pukekohe will present a sprightly appearance.
