ODDFELLOWS' HALL PICTURES.

Good programmes for to-night and Friday night are advertised to be screened at :he Oddfellows' Hall. These programmes are being regularly advertised, and pations will find particulars in the "Times" advertising columns each issue.

LYCEUM PICTURES. WEDNESDAY. Rex Beach's screen classic of the great south-west, " Heart of the Sunset," the picture of a thousand thrills, is the big attraction for toTiorrow evening at the Premier Hall. This is one of Rex Beach's great and strong stories. New love for old hate, tremendous for its love interest, its raids on the border, its adventure, its excitement, and its reality. The love story of a beautiful ranenwoman and a daring Texas Rar.ger. The picture is in six parts, and runs for one hoar &nd three-quarters. Ordinary prices only are being charged, as the picture is on the current circuit. SATURDAY. The final episode of the serial, " Wolves of Culture,' will be shown on Saturday next, in conjunction with the i?sual week-end change of programme. SKATING. Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings; r.lgo, next Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday next.—Special. In order to lead up to carnival evening* there will be held on Tuesday evening next a greasy pig race for the boys, alss a tug-of-war on skates. All the Doys wishing to compete for the pig race must give their names in at the skate box and pay Sd entry. A prize of 10s will be given to the winner and 2s Gd to the next best attempt at catching the pig. Should no one succeed in catching the pig the prizes will be given for the best attempt. The tug-of-war teams will be picked from the attendance on the evening. We hope to hold a big carnival on the following week. This will include a big number of items. Fancy dress and poster dress take precedence until 9 p.m.. no other skaters allowed on the floor or t.': compete for the following programme: Grand march, judging ladic fancy dress, judging ladies' poste* dress, judging gents' fancy dress, judging geits' poster dress, musical couples (ladies), musical couples (gents), most graceful couple, couple's race (gents), gents' quartermile hurdle race, ladies' ouarter-mile hurdle race. Bun-eating competition to conclude the programme.
