MARKET REPORT.
The Franklin Farmers' Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report: At our weekly sale on Friday pigs came forward in fair numbers, with very little alteration in prices. Weaners brought from 10s to 15s, better quality 17s to 27s store £2 6s. Poultry, full pens, but short of requirements: Hens, light, 3s to 4s; neavier, 4s to 4s 8d; roosters, 3s 9d to 4s; no heavy ones penned. Pumpkins, 5s to 6s; melons, os to 6s; red carrots, 7s cwt; bundles! Is per dozen; swedes, about 2s 6d cwt. Fruit, only a small quantity entered, the quality inferior, prices being 4s 6d to 6s per bushel case. Packers of fruit would be well advised to cast aside anything that is not perfectly sound; wnilst some packers may be relied upon, there are others who appear to think anything eooj enough. b
