'Hie points' prize in the poultry section was won by Mr. McKinney with (i'i points, vviln Mr. K. J Roberts second with 40 points. Mr. Mo Kinney thus annexes the 1 special prize of £1 Is. An exhibitor at the Franklin Winter Show was asked whether the cockerel he wished to enter was an English or an Ainericftn bird. He did not know which, but presumed that it was a Yankee, judging by i the fact that it was addicted to crowing loud and long.
