McLaughlin's estate'. The road was shown on the old plans and was used for many years, but no actual dedication has been registered. In view of t!><. fait that the council has opened a quarry on the southern face, they asked the council to accept dedication of the road.-The road was M links wide, but arrangements could be made to have it made one chant wide.—Left to Cr. Waters, Reid and the engineer to. look into and report on at next meeting. Maraetai Deviation. Mr Jos Hove (Clcvedon) signified his- willingness to allow the council to take such land necessary for the purpose of a deviation on the Maraetai Road known as Willow's Crossing.—Received . Finance, The pay-sheet amounting to £1134 7s lOd was submitted, approved of and passed for pr-ynent. Financial Adjustment. ~- The council agreed to meet representatives ot the Manurewa Town 'Board on Friday 10 discuss the matter of financial adjustment, now that the Town Board has taken over the sole control of its district. Urging Road Boa.nls to Merge. It was resolved to circularise the road boards in the county, and explain the position with regard to the loss of Government subsidy occasioned by the delay in adopting themerging proposals, tnd to ask for a decision on the matter as soon as possible.
