LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

THE WINTER SHOW. Sir, —As the Winter Show time is rapidly approaching, quantity as well as quality of exhibits are needed to make our first winter show the success it should be. May I suggest that committees be formed in the various outlying districts such as Waiuku, Aka Aka, Bombay. Tuakau. Onewhero. etc. (1) For the purpose of securing entries; (2) for providing at a low cost to exhibitors means of getting their exhibits to the show in time to be judged. I am sure that if it is once known that a conveyance will leave respective centres, taking exhibits to the show, the number of entries will be greatly increased. Hoping public men will accept this humble suggestion and call meetings and make this first showworthy of the important district in which it is being held. J. B. SIM. Tuakau, 4/5/20.
