HEAVY MACHINERY COMING

The need of a substantial crane at Pnkekoho station was av.iin biought np at a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council on Wednesday night Cr. Geo Armstrong pointing out that now the loan v,v.:- p.issed a heavy crane would be required to lift the heavy electrical machinery that would be arriving.

The engineer (Mr. W. Wyatt) said the bed of the new engine would weigh ten tons. Other members concurred, and it was agreed to make further urgent representations to the Railway Department.
