LYCEUM PICTURES. WEDNESDAY. A Select drama, "The Romance of Arabella," with Constance Talmadge in the title role, will be the feature for to-morrow (Wednesday) night's screening. This is a picture of delight, a comedy full of charm and sparkling with cheerfulness. Arabella, the young widow, begins to s ; t up and take notice, and think of her departed as her "first." The man ! marry now must give me thrills - must sweep me off my feet! Then began the sweeping. There are good supporting items. GOOD FRIDAY. Henry B. Walthall's latest triumph, "False Faces," has been secured at considerable cost for a special screening on Good Friday. This picture, produced by Thomas 11. Ince, presents a brilliant array of artists, with Henry B. Walthall in the lend. Despite the extra cost this picture will be shown at ordinary prices. "RIDERS OF THE PURPLE SAGE." TO-NIGHT. It should bo hardly necessary {■> remind pictuie patrons of the above screening al the Premier Hall tonight. The story, written by Zano Grey, has been so widely read, and the acting of William Duncan i ; so well known, that it is unlikely those who can be present will miss Use opportunity of seeing the picture. ROLLER SKATING. The roller skating season, as far as Pukekohe is concerned, was opened last night in the Premier Hull, when there was a large attendance of enthusiasts. Learners were there in full force, and created no end of amusement by their antics, an evening's fun which was appreciated nnd fully enjoyed by a number of onlookers. The rink is being uin undo, the auspices of Mr. J. ,T. Coady, who has secured the services of a capable rink conductor, Mr F Thomas. The exercise last evening should piove beneficial to those who participated, and much better skating should be witnessed on Thursday night.
