BUCKLAND. ' V NENVSt NOTES. a short-time past'the religious HHfedy loyally known as the Fraserites been holding-**tneir annual gathering at Buckland. A huge marquee was erected on Mr. Lowe's property, and about 200 or 800 of the sect lived there for sbme time, spe a their time In : Meditation, prayeriand friendly intercourse. During tlif' list Sunday of iheir stay - the ceremony took place in the BucifciafM Creek. A good number of worshippers and onlookers col-1 lected, and watched a number of new ' members being '-.admitted to the body. This summer the energy of the ' dancing community seems to be boundless. In spite of the heat and harvesting and milking, dances have been held very frequently. Last Wednesday Messrs. I. Wilcox and W. Bullock organised a pleasant little entertainment. The crowd that gathered was small enough to allow dancing to be a pleasure. Miss Gerahty played splendid music, Miss Pulman and Miss Wilcox playing the extras. The churchgoers were delighted last Sunday to see Mr. Driver again ringing the church bell. Mr. and Mrs. Driver have just returned from a trip to England. They went through the Panama Canal and returned home Vi&Suez. The plucky old couple excellent sailors, and enjoyed evety bit of their trip.
