POKENO DROWNING
ACCUSED REFORE SUPREME
COURT.
As a sequel to the drowning of the infant child, Norma Leah Holts, at Mill Creek, Pokeno, on December 19, the mother of the deceased, Constance Elizabeth Parsonage, was charged with murder and manslaughter at the Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr. Justice Chapman aM aV jury of 14. No bill was returned otijg?' the count of murder, but the jury brought in a true bill on that of manslaughter.
