FRANKLIN A. & P. SHOW
ENTRIES CLOSE ON FEBRUARY 6. NEED FOR HASTE. The experience this year in regard to getting entries in for the Franklin A. and P. Show, which takes place on the 27th and 28th of February, is as bad as in preVious years, in that entrants are very slow in forwarding their entries. Up till yesterday only 62 entries had been received by the secretary (Mr. D. R. Hamilton), but, if the show is to equal those of previous years, the total must reach about 1800.
No doubt the show will be supported this year equally as well as on previous occasions, but it is hardly fair to withold entries until the last day or two, and then flood in about 2000 of them, and expect the staff to handle them all without making mistakes.
The entries close on February 6, so that it is necessary for intending exhibitors to make their entries known to the secretary without an hour's delay.
