ENTERTAINMENTS.

LYCEUM PICTURES. "MICKEY." TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10. Mack Sennett's first special which is said to have cost £60,000, and which is claimed to rival "The Whip," "Sporting Life," and other big Drury Lane productions, is to have its advent under the supervision of International Attractions at the Premier Hall on Tuesday next. "Mickey" has been designated an "eight-course banquet of entertainment." It simply cannot be classified. Every element that ever went into the composition of big comedy dramas is there—comedy, romance, thrills, sensational horse races, fights, chases, water stunts, ballroom scenes, and a wonderful race, with hairbreadth escapes, between an express train and a motor-car, are only some of the concomitants of this massive and magnificent film. The story is a human story, well told, rich in incident—a simple, familiar story so delightfully narrated i that the very familiarity of every I scene and episode-makes the picture doubly fascinating.

Mabel Normand reveals her versatility as its irrepressible heroine in a way that should make the film a monument to her ability. Never, in one picture, did any actress have such opportunities to display her gifts to the utmost. And Mabel does everything her admirers thought she could do, besides a lot of things no one believed she could.

The song, "Mickey," inspired by the picture, will be included in the special incidental music. Seats may be reserved at "The Bookery." The prices are adults 2s and Is 6d, plus tax, children 6d and Is.

A big picture feast at the Premier Hall to-morrow (Wednesday) evening, Mae Marsh in "The Cinderella Man." This is a worthy production by the director of the "Manxman," George Loane Tucker. Every scene is a joy itself, the whole a bubbling container of comedy, sentiment and heart interest; a picture that raises the standard of film production. It is clean, sweet and wholesome. A story of charm and appeal that will delight young and old. The cast contains Mae Marsh, Tom Moore, George Fawcett and Alice Francis. The picture occupies the whole evening.
