4fr. R. S V. Fear, who has been on holiday at has now returned to Pukekohe. Mr. W. Fjdfe. who was secretary of tiie Lower Waikato R.S.A., Pukekohe, and will shortly be leaving New Zealand for Australia. '% Miss Iris Wily, of Buckland, wht 'recently finished a Teachers' Training Ipollege course at Auckland, for Te Awarnutu to-morrow, whert she will commence an teacher at the Kihikihi Puolic School. At meeting of the Frank*lin A. and P. Society njriit, a vote of accorded the ftskU>w and relatives of the*tate Mr. Monty Wright. The motion was carried in silence, members standing. At thefmeeting of the Franklin A. and P. Society; on Tuesday, the secretary was instructed to write to Messrs. F. Perkins and J. Patterson thanking them for the work done in regard to securing an extra four acres of land for the Technical School, also to the Prime Minister, thanking him for securing a Government grant of £IOOO towards the acquirement of the land.
