EXECUTIVE MEETING. A meeting of of the Lower .Waikato R.Sra. was held on Tuesd/fy' night in King's (Chambers. The president (Dr. Campbell Smith) was in the chair. A great deal of correspondence was dealt With, and several accounts passed for The profit from the concert was £2 2s 6d. * A motion was proposed 'and seconded that the Auckland R.S.A. Executive be written to, and complaint made regarding the R.S.A. Land Bureau re the want of infonMtton given and delay taken in putting through the business of several of our members. A motion was also proposed and carried, that in the opinion of this executive an investigation of all patriotic and war funds is necessary. The president gave a resume of the work carried out by the Repatriation Board up to the end of last year, which was very satisfactory. The president and acting-treasurer were authorised to sign all chequei. Mr. Fyfe resigned his position as member of the executive, owing to his impending departure from the district. •*) A heartV vote of thanks was accorded Mr. W. Pollock, the provincial organiser, for services rendered to the and for attending the meeting??' The membership is now 120.
