CRICKET NOTES
Weather Prevents Play New Club Formed At Pokeno Owing to the boisterous weather on Saturday, all outdoor games—bowls, tennis and cricket - were postponed. The cricket match, Pukekohe ▼. Tuakau, will take place at a future date.
We learn ou good authority that a cricket club has been formed at Pokeno. This being so, it makes about six teams in the district, namely, Pukekohe, Tuakau, Drury, Pokeno. Papakura, and Papakura Valley. With the above clubs, then is a prospect of some keen and exerting games in the near futnre. -In fact an Association could be formed, and a couple of rounds played before the summer months end.
