Pukekohe v. Drury. Win Fop Home Team. By Seven Wickets. A team representing Drury Cricket Club journeyed to Pukekohe on Saturday last to try conclusions with the homo eleven. The match eventuated on the Parade ground, on a wicket which suited tho trundleis to a nicety. Drury batted first, and compiled only 22 runs the top scorer being N. Wilson with 8 runs. Pukekohe knocked up only 27. H. Morris with 12 not out, being the chief contributor. In the second innings; Drury did slightly better making 33 runs- F. Cossey and W. Pleydell making 10 apiece, and A. Clarke 9. Requiring 29 to win, the bom© team did the necessary for the loss of 3 wickets. The bowling throughout was deadly and the batsmen could not master it at all. Appended are the scores.
