Jones "On the Corner " City Markets, reports sales as follows: We have an exceptionally heavy supply of poultry, and pigs at to-day's auction; and prices were firm for heavy birds, chickens are in heavy supply. Prime heavy hens and young roosters in strong demand. New potatoes —Large quantity coming forward; and values lower sales heavy, at quotation. Onions—Market firm. Fruit.—Scarce, selling well. Hams, bacon, butter and eggs.— Market firm Poultry—(2766 penned).
