Alden will deliver a powerful lecture, which will be preceded by a musical programme. A collection will be taken up to assist local committee.

'•The Better 'Ole" is notanar picture, nor a series of cartoons It is n full blooded play dealing with living, breathing human characters, including Old Bill, Bert and Alf It is a thought compelling, tear raising, mirth provoking, cheerful and truthful romance, representative of the true British spiiifc in the trenches, and typifing the devil-may-care courage anil devotion shown by our boys, some of whom went to the Great Beyond with a joke on their lips Cld Bill, the walrus and h s two merry men, Bert and Alf stand as symbols of the old army, human characters which Captain Bruce Bairnsfather has immortalised and whose memory will be perpetuated for love and laughter by this pictuii sation of " The Better 'Ole." The Lyceum mauagement are screening this picture by arrangeuieut with tLe International Atiraci ions Ltd. The admission charges are adults 2s and Is 6d, plus tax. children, 6d and Is.
