SUBURBAN TRAINS.

Papakura Service. Iu connection with the advocacy for an improved train service to Papakura, the acting chairman, Dr A W. P Brookfield, reported to the Town Board on Monday night that he and Mr E. D McLennan, interviewed the District Traffic Manager, and they had a good reception. He pointed out that the Railway officer indicated that he would recommend an 11-train service per day, to Papakura, and was strongly in favour of stopping the Rotorua express both ways at Papakura. He strongly opposed the running of Sunday trains.
