Mr "Pom" Watson, left by thf> Rotoiua express to day for Hamilton, where ho takes up a position with the National Hank. Pi I\. C. Macdiarmid, of Huntly, paid a visit to a friend in Pukekohe on f-'aturday. Intimation has been received by the Major. Mr 0. K. Lawrie, that the Prime lit Hon. W F Mussey, will probably visit Pukekohe early next week. Pt.i> 0. McMillan, brother of Mr T E McMillan, of Pukekohe, paid a visit to Mr and Mrs McMillan during the week-end. Pte McMillan has just returned from the front after '2.J years' active service. Another brother, Pte Douglas McMillan, returned somotime ago. The family were fortunate in that tho three brothers w'io «ervod in the fipld re turned home, though the latter suffered a broken arm, through shell fire, in the sevore fighting around J Metteren in 101 hj,
