Quite a large area of early potatoes have beon put in this year, and as the resist of the rain and warm weather which fo'lowed, these crops are look'ng we'l, one seder already t,carted to dig. The oat crops and pastures have also benefited by the rain, and are looking well. Dairying is now in full swing, and a large quantity of cream is going out of the district, as instance 1 by the cream carter having to put on two waggons on Mondays. The Post Office has been remove 1 to a more central position, and the settlers are busy conne sting their private telephones.
