The dilapidated old woodm building is a disgrace to the town. In that shabby dei., where tin clerk sits boxed up like ti crimiual in the d«<ck, th'.re are the ricjrdj of years of business placed on shelves and in pigeon holes, and should a lire occur all these letters, reports, etc would go up in smoke, and endless trouble, expense and confusion would aiise. Then there is also a Public Libraiy and Heading Itoom and the P'ire Brigade Station. And a few loot of space is dovuted to the display of electiical gear. Undoubtedly it is time that a town hall, count ll chambers, library, display r< om and other facilities geneial'y found iu a borough should bo provided,
