Tuakau Butter Factory The milking season as far as Tuakau is concerned is progressing apace, and by the beginning of November the season will bo in full Hush. The whole countryside is looking exceptionally well. There is an abundance of feed, with the result that milking cows are in the pink of condition. That the cream yield is is excess of the previous year is strikingly demonstrated by the increased output at the Waikato Cooperative Dairy Company's factory at Tuakau. On Tuesday last a representative of the Timii- interviewed the manager, Mr A. H. ltoberts, who stated that the output for the week amounted to TOO boxes of butter which is ■V) boxes more than was the caso for the toiresponding period of l'.'lv The factory is, without doubt, the most up-to-date in tho district. The buttor making facilities include) seven largo cream vats, vi/. : Four SUO-gallon, one 700 gallon, and two 000 gallofi vats There are t.vo large cream coolers, a large pastouriser, two Toplifs churns, ono Simplex and a huge Tupliss i hum capa'ilo of churning Oti boxes of butter at a single churning. Mr lvoborts addbd that on the Monday night tho train, which arrives it Tuakau about 0 p.m., had about ii'">o cans of cream on hoard. The cream was manufactured into butter the same the job being completed about in pm. In conclusion the manager statod on that day (Tuesday the output was -'jO horns. He pointed out that the season was 1 ackwanl, attributed to the late spring, cold weather, anil the la< kof feed.
