NEW HALL. Matters relative to the erection of a Public Hall, are progressing apace. Plans and specifications ate almost completed, for the executive to deal with. CEMETERY AFFAIRS. A meeting of the Cemetery trustees was held, those present were: Messrs T. Aylward (chanman), A. Jones, secretary end treasurer, J Harvey, H. Furnish, and E. Walsh It was decided to arrange with Mr E. C. Malting, to lease about half of the cerreteiy reserve, for cropping purposes, for a period of two years at a small rental. The trustees agreed to improve the balance of the ground, and to clear noxious weeds and other rubbish. SCHOOL GROUND IMPROVEMENTS. The school ground , which formerly was a veritable noxious weeds hot bed, has been clean -d up to such an extent that at present, one would hardly know it. The ground has been ploughed, and beautifully laid out with tlowers, traps, shurbs, arches and summerhouses.
