Lyceum Pictures. Mabel Normand makes another appearance in a Goldwyn drama called '' The Venus Model '' This is the story of a business which needed Brains, and of the girl who supplied them. The humorous element in this pictnre is more subordinated to the serious story than in any of Mabel's previous films. The picture Is got up on a lavish scale, with magnificent settings, rich dresses, and the latest bathing costumes. The supports are Patlie gazet.e, and a two-reel comedy, " Max in a Taxi."
