Trooper Arthur Norman, youngest son of Mr and Mrj Fred Lucas, of Pukekohe, is returning in the Ulimaroa. Another son, Frederick, was killed on Gallipoli, and George returned about two months ago.
A very pleasant little function took place on Friday ovecing last, at Mr Hustings' biliiard saloon, when many of tho friends of Mr lliua Wi Neera presented him with a silverniuiinted pipe in case and silvermounted tobacco pouch, on his departure from Pukekohe to Palmerston, whenco he has been transferred. Mr Hastings, in making the presentation, alluded to me many good dualities of the recipi -nt Mr Neera leaves to-morrow to uka up his now duties.
