Te Koa Concert Party

TUESDAY NIGHT After a phenomenally sioccessful season in Auckland tihe Te Koa Concerty Party, constituted by returned soldiers, will play at the Premier Hall, Puliekohe, on Tuesday evening. The party is composed of vocalists and elocutionists, together wi.th light comedians, claiming a standard equal, if not abcre, that of any one concert party that has yet played in the Dominion. The company's season in Auckland was marked with intense enthusiasm, the audience from night to night clamouring for return numbers. Mr Owen Pritchard, the comedian of the party, is, according to Auckland critics, in his class of work unapproachable as regards humour. Mr Stanley Pritchard, a vocalist of fine quality possesses a rich baritone voice. A tenor of note, and one enjoying all-round popularity is Mr Victor Elliott. Mr Elliott is well known throughout Australia on the concert platform. Miss Tui Hillyer, the contralto of the company, has enjoyed the privilege of many recalls daring the Auckland season and has been the recipient of many complimentary references from leading musical critics. Also in the Te Koas are Mr Wally Edwards, who plays the part of a soubrette with surprising finish and colour; Mr Les. Walton is esteemed in his class as a front-rank artist ; and Mr Harvey Bowley, whose efforts as accompanist is stated to be equal to that of any concert pianist who as yet visited the Dominion. The Box plan is to be seen at the " Bookery."
