Mrs C. K. Lawrie left Pukekohe last week on a three months' visit to Wellington and Patea friends. Mr J. W. Yarnall, lately of Mr H. G. R. Mason's office, has commenced in practice as a solicitor on his own account at Dargaville. Miss Dorothy Henderson, teacher of pianoforte, who is disposing of her large connection in Hamilton, proposes taking up her profession in this district, and will be in Pukekohe from July 26 to 29, to enrol intending pupils.
