FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL Borough Repayment Loan of £1,160. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Franklin County Council, held on THURSDAY, the 3rd day of July, 1919, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Council to be held on THURSDAY, the seventh day of August. 1919, at 9 a.m., at the County Oliice, Hall Street, Ptikekohe. RESOLUTION. WHEREAS by the terms of an agreement made between the Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Franklin and the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Pukekolie upon an alteration of boundaries between the said bodies an adjustment, was made pursuant to Section 17 of " The Counties Act, IHOB " whereby the sum of £1 HiO is payable by the County of Franklin to the Borough of Pukekolie AND WHEREAS tho Sinking Fund to be provided in respect of the said sunt amounts to £174, making a total sum of Xi,334, required to bo provided for NOW THEREFORE the Franklin County Council in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ihe Local Bodies' Loans Act, 19K> and Section 10 of " The Counties Amendment Act, 1915 " HEREBY RESOLVES by way of Special Order : FIRST: To borrow ths said sum of £11(10 for the purpose of paying the said indebtedness to thn Borough of Pukekolie. SECOND: TH \T the said sum of A'l 160 shall he repayable on the first day of September, P.Kit or such earlier date as may be determined by the Council. THIRD: THAT for the purpose of providing for 'he repayment of the said loan of £ll6O together with Sinking Fund, interest, and other charges, the said Franklin County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the £ upon the capital value of that port on of the Pukekolie West Riding of the said County formerly included in the Borough of Pukekolie and excluded therefrom and vested in the Franklin County Council by Order in Council dotted the 10th day of January, 1916, and published in the N.Z. Gazette tor 1916 at page 13 thereof and declares that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the said debenture and by payable yearly on the first day September in each vear during the currency of the loan being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
