NOTICE is hereby given thar at a Special Meeting of the Manukau County Council held on TUESDAY, Bth July, 1919, the following resolution was passed, viz.: " That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 31 of " The Counties Act, 19118," the Manukau County Council on the petition of the majority of the ratepayers of the Mangere Road District resolves by way of Special Order that the said Mangere Road District be merged in the County of Manukau and the Board thereof abolished." This Special Order will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Council to be held on TUESDAY, 12th August. 1019, at 10 a m. A copy of the Special Order is open for inspection at the Council Office, High Street, Auckland, during office hours. ALEX. BELL. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the Bth JULY, 1910, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Council to be held on the 12th day of AUGUST, 1919. at 10 a.m. in the Council Chambers, High Street, Auckland. RESOLUTION. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 16 of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913 " and with the consent of the ratepayers in the Special Ratin< Area in the Manukau County hereinafter described testified by a petition signed by not less than three-quarters of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the sud County is collectively greater than the capital vaiues of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent. The Manukau County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows : " For the purpose of constructing approaches to new High Level Bridge at Manurewa the Manukau County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of Two Thousand pounds at 41 per cent per annum for a period of thirty-six and a-half years and declares that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised." SPECIAL RATING AREA All that area of land at Manurewa comprising part Lot Four and Lot Six of part Clendon's Grant Lots Eight to Twenty-eight and Forty-five to Fortynine (inclusive) of Martin's Estate and Lot seven Jellicoe Estate as shown on the plan deposited in the Office of the said Council.
