To the Editor Sir,—Yonr sub leader of 25th April '• A Plea lor Sound Liquor " is the most sensible writing I have seen on this much discussed subject, and I hope you will continue to uee your influence in the direction of reform of the quality of liquor sold. . . I sometimes see mention in the papers of a " Moderate League," but they do not seem to advertise their address or secretary's name, to assist people to join them; yet now would be their opportunity of gaining strength if they are working oa the lines indicated in your leader. —Yours etc, PERCY HOLT Papakura, sth May
