ST. JOHN'S CHURCH, TUAKAU.

.+. The annual meeting of St. John's Church was held last Tuesday evening, when the accounts for the year ending March 31 st were read by the Treasurer (Mr F. Liwson.) These showed that although the Church had been closed for consecutive Sundays during the epidemic, the offertories had increased by i'3o, and that after defraying expenses in connection with the Church, there was a credit balance of £7o. After the Vicar (Rev. L. Foulkes) had thinked the wardens and others for their kind help during the preceding year, he re-elected as his Warden Mr F. Lawson, and the people chose a 9 their warden Mr Thomas Lipwool. The meeting closed with the Benediction.
