" Cleaning up Week." As a precautionary measure against the recurrence at Influenza or other Epidemics, the Otahuhu Borough Council has decided to institute a " Cleaning-up Week " for the period from Monday, March 24, to Monday, March 31, both days inclusive. A special service for the collection of house refuse has been arranged, and residents are specially requested to thoroughly clean up their premises, and have all rubbishy tins, and refuse of any kind which wW harbour rats, etc., placed in a suitable receptacle and at an accessible position inside the entrances to their properties, ready for removal.
