BOWLING
A team from Mt. Albert (Auckland) visited the Pukekohe green on Saturday, ard indulged in a friendly bout with a local team. The game was of a see-saw and exciting nature up to the 10th head, when Pukekohe l*d 21-13. For the remaining six heads the visitors monopolised the hoard, and secured a hard-earned win by five points The scores were : —McQinnis, Topliss, Baildon, Blair 'Mt Albnr*), 26; v. Jones, W. Adams, Pdvsh, Armstrong (Pukekohe), 21. On Saturday next another contest f >r the Auzac cup will tske place on the Pdkdkohe green, when the West Bad (\u-kland) club will send three teams to do battle for the coveted trophy
