FRANKLIN ELECTORAL ROLL. A total of 0,61 2 names of voters appears on the main roll for the Franklin electorate, to be used at the coming licensing poll, together with 3,400 names on the supplementary roll, making a gross total of 10,012 The. The purging of the rolls is not yet completed, but it is anticipated that about 800 names will be be struck off for transfers, removals, deaths, etc., thus leaving a nett total of 9212 voters, as against 7,940 on the roll at the general election in 1914. This increase of 1272 names can be taken as reflecting the progress of the district during the past four and a half years.
