PAPAKURA.
The Dext meeting of the Papakura Magistrate's Court is set down to take place on February 14th, with a subsequent sitting on March 19th The Papakura Town Board, in pursuant e of the resolution passed a*; the last meeting to meet on the second and four'h Mondays in each month, instead of monthly as previously, is due to assemble next Monday. With water supply always a remunerative preposition, the possibilities atttiched to the Hunua hills being utilised as a source of supply for Papakura, as now under con sideratitn by the Papakura Town Board, afford material for a wider scope for operations. The lay of the country is such that by gravitation water could be conveyed to Drury, Manurewa, and Papatoetoe, and would be gladly welcomed by residents in those districts. If the Papakura Town Board acts as suppliers in this way a substantial revenue would be assured to the advantage of local ratepayers and consumers.
