The double fatality, just as Papakura was emerging from the grip of the disease, has cast a gloom over the township. Yesterday there were 29 inmates of the temporary hospital at Papakura, but nearly all are making good progress towards recovery, and it is proposed to close rhe hospital next Saturday, after which any new cases will be sent to the Auckland Public Hospital.
