COUNTY COUNCIL VACANCY. (To the Editor.) Sib,—l notice in your issue of the 26th. a letter referring to the election of a councillor for the vacancy on the Manukau County Council and pointing out that Mannrewa would benefit by being directly represented on that Council. His views on the question I heartily endorse and as I am of a spoiting kind I would be quite prepared to abide by the spin of a coin and should the other party win he could be sure of my hearty support. Yours etc. T. J. CORIN. Manurewa, 28 November 1918. Through a similarity in christian nanus it was reported in our last issue that Pte G. Cox v iea<', is sti'l with tho forces i'i Palestine.
