WAIPIPI.

At the Auckland Police Court, on Tuesday, before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., Fritz Jackson admitted failing to clear rabbits from his land at Waipipi. Mr F. H. Brittftin, rabbit inspector, said dejendant was served with a notice on September 17, and given a mou;h in which to lay poison, but nothing was done The adjacent property-holders had laid poison, but defendant's defection robbed their work of its value. Defendant sail he had arranged with a neighbour to lay the poison, but (owing to illness) he had been unable to do it Defendant wa3 fined £5, and the Magistrate told him he was liable to a fine of £IOO if the work was not done in a month.
