NEW ZEALAND'S TRIBUTE TO FRANCE

An Appeal

The executive committee of the above fund desire to forward a first remittance of £IO,OOO so as to reach France before the setting in of winter and to be used for the purposes of the French Red Cross, and such other relief objects as the French Government may direct. In order to accomplish this a further sura of £2OOO is urgently required, and the committee feel confident that they will not appleal in vain to those who realise what France has done in this war, and who sympathise with the piifTeriugs of her people. The fund is intended as a national recognition by New Zialaud of the great work of our greatest alley. Contributions will be gladly acknowledged by the secretar}' of the fund, whose uddress is Box (ill, Wellington.
