PAPATOETOE.
FLOWER SHOW AND INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.
Under the auspices of St. George's Church a flower show and industrial exhibition were held in the Town Hall on Wednesday of last week. The entries were numerous, the majority of exhibitors hailing from Auckland, but the surrounding districts were also well represented. Various stalls, laden with produce and edibles of all natures, were the scenes of much brisk business throughout the day and night under the supervision of energetic ladies and as a result the debt on the Church should be materially decreased. The stall-holders were:
Sweets stall : Misses O'Loughhn (2) and Cutforth ; fancy stall: Mesdames Daisley, Mellsop and Hallbury ; produce Btall: Mesdames Badgrove and Cutforth ; afternoon tea: Mrs Cruickshank and Miss Fowler; cake stall : Mrs and Miss Burnside.
