The effort on behalf of raising funds for the Red Cross still goes on apace, a strong committee has been working earnestly in this cause and part of their programme is to hold a Paddy's Market on the 13th of this month. I learn that the function is to be held in the Drury hall and that the hall on that occasion is to represent an Irish village, with all the fun of the fair thrown in. The President of the Committee (Mr W. H. C. Glasson) and his able lieutenants, Messrs Robson and Fielding, have been hard at work to make the function a pleasure to visitors and a financial success. Their efforts deserve due recognition.
