WAIAU PA
"Vote for the loan" is the popular cry at Waiau Pa in respect of the poll of ratepayers to bo taken on Friday, September 6th, on the proposals of the Franklin County Council to raise a loan of £27,000 for metalling the main roads in the Waiau Pa and Karaka districts. Waiau Pa settlers have so learnt by experience that existing conditions retard the progress of the district that a fairly solid vote will be cast at Waiau Pa in favour of the loan.

THE FLETCHER TEAT CUP will increase the yield from your herd. This sounds an extravagant claim, but it is a fact borne out by actual experience. The reason is that the action of tli» " Fletcher" cup is based on correct principles. A calf when drinking from its mother exerts the greatest pressure high up on the teat, but so long as the milk is there never presses on the point of the teat. The " Fletcher ' cup follows this principle exactly. The maximum pressure is given high up on the teat, and work.s downward towards the point, which point of the teat however, is protci'ted from all pressure. Although the cheapest form of inflation, a plain piece of tube, is used, a simple but most ingenious patent feature enables a perfect three-side squeeze to be given. Purchase a set of cups to day.
