Thoroughly successful was the concert given last night in the Town Hall by the Kohinor troop of Boy Scouts. The tableau " The flags of our Allies " made a great hit and was a mastoriy production. Th - selections by the Roy Scon's' Hand were also much appreciated, whilst the euphonium solo by Scout Aitehinson and the double has* solo by Scout Watkins were other particularly good efforts. The great event ot the Queen Oarnival fixtures is to take place next Saturday in tho form of a " Paddy's Market." The opening ceremony will be performed by Sir Frederick Lang MP. A ready sale is anticipated for tho numerous goods etc that will be on offer, whilst " sidp show " attractions will bn m »ny and varied.
