A meeting of the Ramarama branch of tin? Fanners' Union was held in Mallard's Barn, Tutnmata, on Sattirlav evening, the '2oth inst.. Mr. Walker presiding. Mr. 8. Oldfield alio Organising Secretary. of th«* Franklin Sub-Provincial District") gave •in address on the scope of the Puion, and pointed out the many •idvantages of becoming affiliated with the Sub-Provincial district. At lhe close of the meeting it was decided to give notice of motion for the next, meeting that the branch should filiate with the Sub-Provincial district.
